UEFA and the UK government are in search to ease COVID-19 measurements for the fans attending European Championship. As we all know the semi-finals and final, as well as two last-16 matches will be at Wembley. However, even if vaccination goes well in the UK, the government is not willing to ease these measurements for the fans.
Wembley Stadium has a big importance for the event since a lot of matches will take place there, all the fans around the world want to see the matches after a long waited time. Martin Kallen works hard to get the government permission for it; he stated that they are in contact with the UK government for the possible things they can do. Nevertheless, the country has its own regulations on COVID-19 that affects the event; according to British Government 21st of June is the actual date that everything turns out to be normal.
Even if they are in touch for all the possibilities, it seems impossible to change the regulation. The rules are obvious fans should obey the COVID-19 UK’s measurements of a long time quarantine. So, basically they will be able to watch but they will be subject to testing and quarantining.
