Manchester City midfielder, De Bruyne, disclosed on Sunday morning (30.05) how much it cost him from the strong division with German defender Antonio Rüdiger in the Champions League final. On his social media, the Belgian reported that he suffered multiple fractures to his face, mainly to his nose and left eye after his head-on collision with defender Antonio Rüdiger in the match that led to Manchester City’s defeat.
The concern now is whether he will be able to play in the next edition of the European Championship. There is still no information about his recovery period in time to play or he will have to be cut from the Belgian team’s roster.
The only certainty is that he will not participate in the Belgium national team’s Eurocup debut on June 12 against Russia. But the next event will be in the preparatory friendly against Greece, to be played at the King Bauduin Stadium in Brussels.
